I just saw it, that wasn’t intentional. It’s on the ref or the linesman to catch it.

If he thought that was a disgrace he really needs to avoid looking up the no-call from the NFC title game.

Luke, the most “proper football man innit” man in a woollen Pat’s hat is quite funny (I know his wife is from Massachusetts but it’s still a bit ironic).

It’s absolutely insane that they haven’t been doing YT content. Excuse me for the word but the Ramble is a “content” goldmine and there is a video feature that they should have focused on a lot more.

And off-topic: they all look so old don’t they? I guess having started the show in their early to mid 20’s, they were eventually going to get to this point but the eternal Marcus really does look like he’s in his late 30’s, same with Luke. I guess Jim has always looked 30 in my mind’s eye and I’m not sure I can pin point Pete’s age, he looks like he could be anything from 25 to 45.

They look like they’re in their late 30’s because they are. I’m pretty sure Luke turns 40 this year or next. Pete is 37. They started The Ramble in their late 20’s.

They look (and are) exactly the age of me and my group of mates. So thanks for bursting any illusions I have of looking young!

Jim and Pete look pretty much the same to me as they did in the WC 2010 videos (other than Jim having shorter hair), Luke and Marcus look older, though in the latter’s case zooming in close with a good quality camera probably makes a big difference compared to filming from further away on a worse camera.

I can’t believe I’m saying this in ANY walk of life, but the accordion was better.

That said, the trumpet version of the Ramble theme that plays in the intermission and to close out the show is better than the regular theme and the rock remix and I wish it was the main tune.

Just watched the latest Ramble content on YouTube whilst procrastinating over work. They showed a clip of the Chelsea fan who sings the ‘Jose Mourinho, Dynamo’ jingle. I’d assumed he was a 20something, which would be bad enough, but the video is of a guy who is clearly in his 50s!!

We are smaller, but that means niche, and a bit older, but we put it on a plate like civilians rather than what is basically some shit in a bag, and have a (relative) touch of class. If you’re going to leave us, do so for something better than that, FFS. Ignoring / forgetting this forum you created is one thing when considering the scale of exposure that might be available on Twitter, but actively referencing a subreddit is seriously disappointing.

Fair, but the ramble subreddit is even smaller and more niche than this forum, and they are definitely less active.
